The threat for severe weather this evening and into tonight has not diminished. Even though the Wausau area has received showers this afternoon, clearing skies later in the day will lend the energy for a volatile weather situation. Please read the updated Hazardous Weather Outlook below.
As for activating SKYWARN, there is has been a slight change from my previous message. The primary repeater will be the 147.135 Mhz W9SM with 145.370 repeater as the backup. Liaison traffic will be on the 444.300 W9BCC IRLP machine with NewVOICE as the backup. Dave Levorson, N9KNY will be net control this evening.
Monitor NOAA weather radio, media outlets, and the local repeaters for changing weather conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight
Thunderstorms are likely this evening, and a significant severe weather
event is possible. Some of the storms could produce destructive winds,
large hail, and torrential rainfall which could lead to urban flooding.
There is also a risk of tornadoes, especially from central Wisconsin
into the southern Fox Valley.
Rising temperatures and dewpoints will create heat indices in the low
90s in parts of central Wisconsin and the Fox Valley.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday
There is a threat of thunderstorms on Saturday, though it is too early
to determine if severe weather will occur.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…
Spotter activation will likely be needed this evening.
